Japanese House with Transparent Floor

This house built in the outskirts of the Koga city, Ibaraki, Japan. The nice idea from the house design is transparent floor. Thus allowing the people to know the activities of other people on the different floor, from the top floor can see underneath the floor activities, as well as people on the ground floor to see people on the floor above it.

This is the reason why the house was called the “live” – just as you feel that you live in the air, rather than in a traditional house with a conventional roof. It is very good if you like open spaces and if you see children playing on the top floor/ground floor without watch them. But house like that can be dizzy for those afraid of heights, as they feel safer if they can not see what’s below, so that you do not know the height or ground clearance.
